Hey, I hope and believe that you are having an A+ day and keeping yourself up healthy and safe. I know there's a lot happening around us (majority of which is the bad stuff) but you know what's worse than that? Not keeping well with our inner self.  Just a spoiler,  Humari filmo ki tarah humari zindagi mein bhi end tak sab theek ho hi jata hai. Or agar abhi kuch theek nhi ho rha hai to, Remember Picture abhi baaki hai mere dost.   The outside turbulence is never in our control but what actually is in our control is the way we treat ourselves so that atleast we are calm, contented and patient enough to deal with the uncontrollable stuff happening around us.  Here are   15 things you must say to yourself every single day: 1. I will never take myself for granted. Instead I will take myself with gratitude. 2. I am not required to  impress anyone with my life choices. 3. I will not fight with myself. I will rather fight for myself. 4.  It's okay to si...

Imperfect not sorry

"All the faith he had had had had no effect on the outcome of his life."

Thinking? What an imperfect sentence I've written.

But this sentence makes complete and perfect sense.

Maybe not perfect from your viewpoint but definitely perfect as far as English is concerned.
Now back to reality, we all think we are imperfect in some or the other way (the thought either comes by its own or is intentionally put by people who have absolutely no agenda in their life but to make us feel how unworthy we are).

But the real question is - Who decides what's perfect enough ? Who decides that there is a specific way to do certain things ?
Can't there be more than one way to do the same thing ? Who decides which way is perfect ?
PERFECT as per the English dictionary means  - to be completely good, without any flaws or weaknesses.

Can you even name one person who is perfect? We live in such a world where people find flaws in GOD, then we are just humans.

Doing the right thing at the right time in the right way every single time isn't just hard, it's impossible. Everyone has the right to be wrong (it nowhere includes doing wrong knowingly)

"A diamond with a flaw is worth more than thousands of perfect pebbles".
We are beautiful and worthy regardless our cracks.
Remember: "There's a crack in everything, that's how the light gets in"
                                                                       - Leonard Cohen

This light is the CHANGE that we bring in our lives. And change is brought only in those spots where there is scope of improvement. In case of a perfectionist (it doesn't exist, but let's just assume), he/she is already completely good, without any flaws to work upon. Where is the scope of improvement ? Will he/she ever try to change? I guess, NO.

Perfectionism is nothing, just a killer of our productivity and creativity, yet so many of us strive to achieve it.
What we exactly want to achieve is Excellence but we misinterpret it for Perfectionism.
Excellence paves the road for growth and never ending improvement while perfectionism paves the road for failure and stagnation.
Ask yourself what you want ?
To constantly improve and grow OR to be stagnantly perfect ?

SCARED OF PEOPLE NOT ACCEPTING YOU ?
if you have people around you who repeatedly and intentionally say things that ultimately make you count your flaws and faults, avoid them, let their words go in one ear and out with the other.
They are injurious to your health, self-confidence and mental peace.
No matter how well you do, they still gonna have complaints and problems.
Just stop prioritizing them and their useless words.
Prioritize and surround yourself with the right people
These are the ones who will accept you, love you and admire you regardless your imperfections and will always be there by your side and not in your way as was the case with the "injurious" ones.

REMINDERS FOR EVERYDAY:
  • It's okay to be imperfect because these imperfections make you damn perfect.
  • It's okay to fall down, only then you'll pick yourself up.
  • It's okay to make mistakes as long as you learn from them
  • It's okay to do something you wish you hadn't done.
  • It's okay to feel insecure because your insecurities make you secure.
  • It's okay to have weaknesses, because they make us even stronger as a person.
  • accept yourself completely with your mind, heart and soul.
  • make yourself a better place for yourself
  • show the real, unfiltered, imperfect, flawed, quirky, weird, beautiful and magical side that you have.
  • Stop hating yourself for everything you aren't and start loving yourself for everything you already are.
  • Allow yourself and others to make mistakes and to be imperfect without being judgmental.
  • Be gentle with yourself and others around you.
  • Don't compare yourself to others ( cuz, they're not perfect)
  • Don't judge others (cuz, you're not perfect)
  •

Stitch your flaws such that they become flawless.

Be FLAWSOME, embrace your flaws and know you are awesome regardless.

NEW TO MY BLOG?

Hi! It's me Bhavishya. A soul out there, just like you. Jolly by nature, child at heart, a simple girl with full of life. I hate people when they ask an introvert to speak up and an extrovert to shut up, hence, I like being an ambivert. I have a pretty good creative side (atleast that's what my friends say  and I too agree with them).
I'm a firm karma believer. Can't stand fakeness, laugh on my own mistakes (don't worry, I learn from them too). I'm always willing to learn new things and welcome people who correct me at my weak points without judging me.
